PONGAL CELEBRATION


 Pongal is one of the most important festival celebrated in Tamilnadu. The festival is celebrated in CMS College of Education on 12/01/2024.This celebration expresses gratitude to mother nature and cattle interwined with workship for a bountiful harvest. The teachers and students made Pongal dish. We marked with colourful 'Kolam' and distributed 'prasadam'after pooja. Then everyone joined in dancing.

On 26 september 2023 CMS college of education conducted nutritious day celebration.The volunteers told us about the importance of nutritious food and how good it is for our health.By consuming nutritious food, our body gets the ability to resist many diseases.Today's generation mostly depends on fast food which makes our body worse.They told us very precisely what food items we need to eat and what is the need for it.They provided some nutritious food and a nutritious drink.I had rejected the drink even at the first sip ,and some of that food.But they gave us that nutritious food to make us understand its importance.The class helped me to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing disease.

TET COACHING INAUGURATION

CMS College of Education conducted an inaugural ceremony for TET coaching on October 13.Honourable Principal sir Dr.Leonard Ashok delivered the key note address.Smt. V.K Subhashini Assistant Professor of the department of Computer Science introduced TET to the students.Dr. P Ganeshan Assistant Professor of department of Geography, Dr. Sumathi Assistant Professor of department of Biological Science facilitated the gathering. Some of the other professors also helped us in clarifying doubts regarding the exams.
